Oh dear. It's still happening. I have no camera and cannot be faffed trying to work out how to upload pics from Daughter's. So this week (there is a cable on the way, I believe, for my camera) I thought I would show you this. Unlike last week's post it's not something that's physically on my desk. However, it is on my laptop, which is on my desk, so I'm going to pretend that's good enough. And it's topical!
This is a 'year in summary' page I did, for a page call for the Scrapbook Inspirations Ideas book, if I remember rightly. I can't actually remember if I've shown it before, but I'm going to assume I didn't and offer it as inspiration for a similar layout should anyone be thinking of doing something, erm, similar.
I drew the title numbers freehand and cut them from a book page, aiming for a comic-strip effect. I thought it worked quite well; I certainly got plenty of photos on the page and I might just do something similar again. As you can see, it's a couple of years old. I think I deleted most of 2010's photos by mistake last year, *sob*, but I'm over it now and it might be nice to try and find some from other sources, ie Facebook!
So now I'm off to finish an essay and cope with the bellyful of air which results from having a very sore throat and constantly swallowing...You wanted to know that, didn't you.

it's always a challenge to get lots of photos on one layout but this looks really good. love the comic book style too.

Great LO here! I especially love the black and white borders around each picture! It really makes them pop!

I love the cartoon-like layout! Hope the cable arrives soon and your throat is feeling 'smooth' again... I would say: eat 'drop' but you don't have that in the UK, do you? But hey, tea and honey is nice too...
