My Photo
Who am I? (...What am I doing here? What's going on?) Well, I live in leafy Surrey, England, about a hundred yards from London. I have four children and work at the school across the road. Never happier than when I'm up to my elbows in paper, glue and paint, but not so happy about clearing up afterwards. I'll give anything a go and talk to anyone, so please feel free to say hello or share your own creations.

The canvas now makes perfect sense. A horrible experience for any child.

Anesha

The painting is perfect given the story behind it. What a terrible thing to happen. Thanks for sharing.

Ohmygawd! What a story! That was a traumatic experience for sure and how awful that it followed you from first to secondary school.

If I had to do a postcard mine would be of the religious teacher grabbing me by the shoulders, shaking me and screaming in my face that I was a lousy person. Not very Christian-like really, but hey, we both survived! Ooh! You're story gives me the shivers though.

Amanda (Scrappnbee)

What a horrible thing to do to a child. I guess leasson learned, always get a receipt. Love the art that it inspired (wish wrinkles on the monkey lady). Happy WOYWW- Amanda 40

Ugh, I hated teachers like that at school, horrible people. Hope that experience didn't scar you for life. Love the art though!

Awesome art but what a sad story! It was a nasty horrible spiteful bunch of demons to have done that to you. Do you know what Karma is? I read the other day that Karma is being around to see people get what they deserve. Hope it happens for you!

Dianne

Wow, that is a really sad story. Those teachers sound horrible! The postcard definitely matches the story!

Katie

The post card is wonderful, and really conveys the feeling of the story. But that story is terrible! I can't believe they behaved that way! They must have been very miserable people.

Happy WOYWW (on Monday!)

LOVE IT! One of todays favourites for me, such wonderful layers but such a sad story. Thanks for the mention and glad to hear that my silly idea to stick postcards on walls ended up inspiring such a wonderful piece of art!
